The day begins with an introduction to the local artisans in the picturesque village of Lefkara.
Here artisans are famous for their ability to create silver jewelry, and skillful weavers have been embroidering.

for several centuries in a row a special ornament, “lefkaritika”. You will be able to buy souvenirs on a visit, made according to traditions that have been handed down from generation to generation. Our path takes us past sunny vineyards in the heart of the region of Commandaria, where local winemakers have been creating masterpieces of wine art for more than 3,500 years. At the winery Ktima Gerolemo you will be introduced to the main varieties of Cypriot wines and treat you to traditional style snacks.

Next stop is Prodromos, where you'll enjoy, home cooking and fragrant wine. We will visit the 11th century Kikkos monastery. Here for many the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary, painted by St. Luke during her lifetime, is kept here for many centuries. In the cathedral, in the church of Our Lady of Kykkos we will visit the ossuary where the relics of more than 30 saints are kept.

Come to the miraculous icon and address the Virgin Mary as if she were alive. The monastery is considered her abode.
